The third meeting with the Norwegian partner on the “Energy Efficient Modernization of the Urban Outdoor Lighting Systems of the City of Lovech and Village of Doyrentsi” was held

The third work meeting for exchange of practices with the partner MPENERGI AS, Kingdom of Norway, was held on 10 April and 11 April 2021, thus implementing activity 7 “Exchange of experience, knowledge and good practices between Lovech Municipality and MPENERGI AS” on the “Energy Efficient Modernization of the Urban Outdoor Lighting Systems of the City of Lovech and Village of Doyrentsi” project, grant greement No. BGENERGY-2.001-0101-007 dated 14 Mar 2021.

Within two successive days Mr. Morten Pedersen – representative of MPENERGI AS, conducted training for municipal employees on "Energy efficiency, aspects, guidelines and future". The training took place at the Regional Information Center - Lovech, which provided a hall and presentation equipment.

After the meeting Mr. Pedersen together with the project team reviewed the street lighting replacement activities in the town of Lovech, and also visited the photovoltaic plant built by the project. Mr. Pedersen expressed his satisfaction with what has been achieved, as well as with the very good mutual cooperation between the partners.

The project is carried out with the financial aid of the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Security Programme under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
