A second meeting was held with the Norwegian partner for the project "Energy efficient modernization of settlement systems for outdoor artificial lighting in the town of Lovech and Doyrentsi village”
In the framework of Activity 7 "Exchange of experience, knowledge and good practices between the Municipality of Lovech and MPENERGI AS under the project "Energy efficient modernization of settlement systems for outdoor artificial lighting in the town of Lovech and Doyrentsi village”, Grant Agreement No. BGENERGY-2.001-0101-007 of 14.03.2021, the second of three scheduled workshops for exchange of experience with the partner MPENERGI AS, Kingdom of Norway, was held.
Within two consecutive days from 28.02 till 01.03.2022, Mr. Morten Pedersen - representative of MPENERGI AS, presented the best practices in energy efficiency management of public structures under projects implemented by the Norwegian company.
The event was hosted by the team of the Lovech Regional Information Centre, which provided a hall and presentation equipment. The meeting was opened by Eng. Petar Dekov, project manager, who then gave the floor to Mr. Pedersen to show how the energy saving lighting measures have been implemented in streets and alleys in the town of Oslo and the surrounding areas, as well as in sports facilities and renovated hydropower plants. He shared the experience of the company he represents and specified that all the sites demonstrated in the presentations were the work of his team.
The working meetings coincided with the signing of Act 2a, which marked the start of the construction works on the project.
At the end of his visit, Mr. Pedersen expressed his satisfaction with the fact that an up-to-date information on the progress of the project is published on the specially created bilingual website, a subdomain of the existing Lovech Municipality website - https://energylight.lovech.bg.
